Sound 8 Orchestra is Matthias Wyder‘s solo-project. He has been a musician
since the 80ies and played in a variety of bands.
The album «Golden Memories» features instrumental electronic Easy-Listening,
retrofuturistic B-Movie-Electro, dubby Low-Budget-Lounge-Music
– slightly psychedelic but never overagitated, with instruments as the Korg
MS 10 and MS 20, synthesizer, organ, guitar, Hawaiian guitar, sampler, laptop
and drum machine.

On its first album «Golden Memories», the Sound 8 Orchestra presents a
collection of tunes that went with the projection of Super 8 movies and a live drummer during its
live shows.

Matthias Wyder is currently touring as
saxophone player with the upcoming german Band Beatplanet from Berlin
