HomeSounds was founded in April 2007, and for three months was the Herts and Beds' leading website for local music. The website sadly closed due to a reshuffle in management. In October the same year, the group went down a completely different alley by producing an online TV series. Entitled "Broadway To Baldock", it followed a local drama group as they attempted to put together a musical. Now in 2008, the next step is the HomeSounds Awards in March. Bands who think they've made themselves a staple on the local arts circuit in the past year are urged to get in touch!
Who I'd like to meet: Bands who think they have the potential to be a key player in the local music community.
Our new EP "Lights! Camera! Action!" is now on myspace, and will only be available (in the meantime) at any of the upcoming gigs we're playing, the first being Thursday 12th June at Remix in Hitchin. See flyer below for details, and other gig dates..

just been to the 85 for the live circuit 10th aniversary bash and had an awsome time. vanila nightmare - very cool indie music, verging on grunge. scumdogs - very very punk band, but not at all bland at samey, really entertaining. the otters - oh my the otters are class, think the pixies pop sensibilities meets sonic youths wall of sound with an relic singer and teenageish band. scar my thighs, i mean eyes - migrane music which will give you a heamorage if listened to for too long, im sure they're good at what they do, very tight and brilliant technical musicians and all that, just not my cup of tea. and last but in no way least, flamboyant bella - glorius pop songs played with incredible energy by the most beautiful people you'll lay eyes on in a very long time! thank you and good night.
