   About Soundcheck-KOAR
6 Bands that Major Labels (at least in the United States) did not pick up, or dropped, who had some possible radio hits. In the order they appear on the player:

Orson's "No Tomorrow" spent a month on top of the UK's singles chart and their debut album "Bright Idea" debuted at 1. The song or CD was never released by a major label in the United States even though the band is from Los Angeles. The band's 2nd album "Culture Vultures" was recently released in the UK. http://www.myspace.com/orson

Averi parted ways with their singer Chad Perrone in 2006 and have not put out an album since 2005's "Direction of Motion", lead singer Chad Perrone just released his 2nd solo album "Wake" which can be purchased on iTunes - www.myspace.com/chadperrone

Waking Season is/was a rock band from Florida who has seemingly disappeared in recent years. Lead singer Erik Arimi has since released an EP - http://www.myspace.com/emotionsanonymousmusic

Adelayda signed w/ indie label Superkala Records in 2004 and saw minor radio success with their singles "Not Tonight" and "Crowded Room". The band has since parted ways. http://www.myspace.com/adelaydabirmingham

MrNorth is a New York based (via Ireland) rock band who were signed to indie label Uninhibited Records for their 2004 debut album "Lifesize" which featured the single "Speak No Evil". They've since signed to Rock Ridge Music and released a follow-up called "Fear & Desire" in 2007. They are currently preparing a release of their first live album and play monthly shows in the New York City area. They've opened for bands such Live, Van Halen, Fuel, and O.A.R. www.myspace.com/mrnorthmusic

Stroke 9 is a Bay Area alt/rock band most popular for their 1999 hit "Little Black Backpack". A possible follow-up hit from their 2nd major label album was the track "Vacuum Bag", but it was never released as a single and remains only a fan favorite. The band was dropped after that album and has released 2 more albums since then. They are still making music and touring. check out the song @ www.myspace.com/stroke9
