Press the NAV key to view more info & events "Soundguy" whose real name is Kevin Mitchell, began his musical career at a young age when he and three friends started a band called Superfine. The band soon became popular around the Cape Town area winning fans by their youthful yet mature sound. In 2002 Kevin left the group and pursued a career in sound engineering where he showed a natural talent in both live and recording. He worked for one of the best sound companies in Cape Town for 3 years before heading north asa freelance engineer. Kevin in the mean time has continued writing songs of his own and has produced two demo's in his bedroom on his 16 track reel to reel. Since his last recording "Making The Best With The Little You have" he has since moved to the USA to head up the Live sound for a new and talented band called CIVIL TWILIGHT. As a professional audio engineer Kevin has a good musical ear and this is what makes him stand out as an engineer. "Understanding the musicians needs and putting and then capturing who they are is what makes a good show." Kevin shows that as an engineer or an artist he loves one thing and that is music.
