Greetings, all. I am MiAH, the singular mind and force behind The Sound Lair, a professional digital audio production facility operating out of west Knoxville, TN. My recording studio is on a quest to bring superlative-quality audio results at economical rates to all musicians.
Bands and solo artists... Christian and general market... whether making a label recording for a band with years of studio experience, or leading a new band through their first studio endeavor - I offer equal value and personal attention to all who record here. This month's featured band is On My Honor, a five-member band from Knoxville, TN who have just completed an extensive production effort of twelve songs with The Sound Lair for their debut independent CD, "The Good, The Bad, And Getting By." The membership of the band consists of Drew Justice on vocals, Lucas Sams and Jared Graap on guitars, David Fear on bass, and Josh McCulley on drums.
On My Honor is an exemplary case study in a band of independent musicians working hard to realize their goals. They have defined an accessible, highly guitar-textured pop-punk / modern rock sound that conveys a pleasing amount of compositional awareness and expertise. They spent a year in personal preproduction before coming in to record. They have booked two national tours on their own so far and are gearing up for their biggest tour yet this summer. I sense that in the next 12 months, something significant in the way of label support will become the payoff for On My Honor's years of hard work. They definitely deserve it and are due congratulations from my experience in spending 180+ hours with them on the new CD.

I'm going to tell you a story about a man named Miah and his oldest son Christopher. Miah was a very loving and caring father to all 100 of his children, except for Christopher. When his kids would do something bad, he would say "It's okay (insert name here), just don't do it next time", but when Christopher would do something bad, he would say "Oh yeah! Be a bad boy!". And that is how The Kill Chris Experiment was created.

I should be your 0 friend...which is before your 1st friend on your top, which technically would be your first....or would it? I don't know, ever since C-Pain came back, i've lost a few brain cells. I guess the cliche "rap/hip hop" auto tone vocal effect makes people dumber. Hmmmm....
