Computers that actually work
Clear quiet starry nights with a glass of wine and a hand to hold. Nassau Bahamas in the winter, Cape Cod, in the summer. A breezy day on a beach with a HUGE colorful kite in the sky and an honest woman near me. But truly honest people of any gender are hard to find these days.
Music
I'm open minded as long as it's performed and not looped, and sang from the heart. NO RAP!! (or anythong that even hints of rap) Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd, Joe Cocker, Faith No More, Jane's Addiction, Grateful Dead, YES, Alan Parsons, Deep Purple, Early Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Crazy World of Arthur Brown. Progressive Rock. Jam Bands. 60's, 70's and 80's Rock I could go on forever, but you get the idea!
Movies
21 grams, Star Wars, War of the Roses, Terminator, This is Spinal Tap. Monty Python's Life of Brian. Mo' Better Blues.
Television
Cartoons: Bugs Bunny, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, Animie -(BeBop, Big-O, Inuyasha, StarTrailers).
Other: Stargate SG-1, SNL, Don Kirshner, and NO REALITY SHOWS WHAT-SO-EVER! And NO Jerry Springer ANYTHING! I think Springer ruined TV.
Books
The Right to Privacy, by Jaquiline Kennedy (A must read for those gaining fame or nixing nosy people) Musical Notation for the Quiet Man by Kimberly Dadae. Troubleshooting Analog Electronics, by Mark Anderseen Tech manuals, Spec sheets and Brochures for very large amplifiers. *Tim Allen Grunt*
Heroes
Leonardo DaVinci For being the inventor of so many neat things I wish I thought of Roger Nichols (steely dan's producer), NASA, Chris Squire (bassist for YES, the beatles of prog-rock), MA & PA, Sis, Robin Williams George Carlin R2-D2 (Cuz he's this little white dude who talks funny, has some blues on him, and has a gadget to fix anything, just like me) Yoda 3 feet of spirituality! All the people I've called friends since tragedy struck my life (Xtra Ticket, Gina L, Karen L, Nikki W, and many other of the old Bostons, and Sail Inn crew) And of course My late wife.

About me:
I'm a New England raised guy who was transplanted to the wild wild west of Phoenix, AZ about 9 years ago. I still have my slight accent from the region and that dry, "Bawsten" sense of humor. Which can be both a blessing, and a curse, depending on who I'm talking to. It seems that a large amount of Arizonians take many of my jokes literally. If I say something that catches you off guard, and you can interpret it in multiple ways, please assume I'm going for the cheap laugh.
I'm an artistic, giving, reserved, caring, compassionate, passionate, dedicated, drug free and traditional guy, but I'm not a saint, I do have limits to my patience and forgiveness. And once they are reached, the door shuts for good!
I will make my own opinion of you based solely on our direct interactions. When I'm upset with you, I will dial you directly and discuss it calmly, and I will expect the same thing from you! Drama and gossip only happen when a person's curiosity and imagination have no constructive intellectual outlet, I'm not that way.
My career has been dedicated to the amplification of concerts, and the circuit level repair of the equipment used to do so. Maybe someday I'll design the gadget that all rockers must have. Like the replacement for those loathsome Mackie consoles :)
Before this career choice, I was a full time musician. I've been around the world in the music biz several times. Very little shocks me.
I was happily married for years. I became a widower in 2003.
Okay, I take that back..
Becoming a widower at 35 certainly shocked me!
I'm starting another chapter of my life,
Wanna be in the book?
Who I'd like to meet: I've met dozens of women with hair coloring, porcelain smiles, and an augmented chest.
But that didn't make them beautiful.
I've met lots of people with the gift of gab.
However, only a fraction of them are capable of meaningful conversations.
I've met millions of people in tie dies.
Yet only a few thousand true hippies.
I've known many people who travel.
But that didn't make them worldly.
I know thousands of musicians.
But only a few hundred entertainers.
I have met a truckload of acquaintances.
But only a van full of those strong enough for the ups and downs of a life long friendship.
If you comprehend the 2nd sentence in each phrase, above.
Then my van always has more seats available. :)
All is well my friend. I have been working a ton & making a ton...I am planning for my great escape! HA! As a matter a fact, I am off to work right now. What's happnin' tonight, anything? Peace!
