The Hemorrhoid Era Written by CHAMSIL (M. Phillips)

Stop the shit talkin'!
Your breath smells like the most rancidest
And awfullest
Boo Boo
That can be extracted from a bowel cavity
Don't be mad at me
Because naturally
You're so full of ass matter
Not to mention
On top of that
You got a bad bladder
SO GET PISSED!
The aftermath just
Rips you to shreds
Because I can take no more of your foolishness
You be steady poppin' that stupid shit
The truth it is
Lies you choose to spit
Needs to force a nemesis
To field goal your ass through a set of goal posts
Or off nearby premises
Like an asshole cop
Being an ass to stop
A brotha from drinking outside the liquor store
Regardless if it's concealed with brown paper bag
Why you had to call him a nigger for?
Make him feel less than a man?
Or like his life ain't worth shit?
What if the same man had the power
To have your family murked quick?
You'll be gracing their cemetery plots
With a dirt kiss
People shoo shoo
For the sake of shoo shoo'in
Put a plug in your grill
Before somebody blesses you with
A cruel bruisin'
Contusions
Some loose tooth and
A mangled frame is just
The ingredients to shut your trap
Administer the most embarrassing abrasion
You'll be too damn slow to duck the slap
Charlie Murphy explained that a slap requires a duel
Or shoot out
But before that happens
Participants will have to pull their tools out
And start firing
Somebody's gotta die in the end
So simply close your eyes
And say goodnight my friend
BLAM!

2/19/2009 CHAMSIL.

q2-1

I STAND

Maya said Still I Rise
So I STAND
Going after what’s rightfully mine in full demand.
See if I don’t take action, if I don’t move
What is it that I aim to prove?
Too many times I turned from higher ground
Never making a sound
Offering too readily a silent defeat
Never lifting my feet
Didn’t take on that battle
For less, I’d settle
Forgetting of whom I belong
Altering my internal song
To somebody else’s tune
Somebody else’s melody
Hiding the real in me
being what someone else longed for me to be
Triumphantly
I say
No longer will I betray
That inner call
I will be the strong one
Or none at all
Maya said Still I Rise
So I Stand
Knowing that no woman or man
Will do what I can
I come as each has been called
Going beyond giving it my best, giving it my all
Enthralled
With the journey that is within me
Inside me
It blinds me
That to which I could not see before
That to which was so deep in my core
Today is a new day
Maya said Still I Rise
So I STAND.

    After you've finished here, you may like to hear this folk-carol on myspace...
    Poem 230 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse
    (see my blog for details):
    CHRISTMAS SUNG SIMPLY

    As gospellers have said,
    Beneath signalling skies,
    On land dusty to tread,
    A trough in a stable
    Was the strawy first-bed
    Of a divine baby -
    The forgiving Godhead.

    A season for new hope -
    There then and here now;
    The yuletide of goodwill -
    There then and here now.

    In respect of this chance,
    Beneath bright or dark skies,
    Faith's the star that we glance
    Attending Christ's churches
    And trying to enhance,
    With singing and ritual,
    Our God-loving stance.

    A...

    After you've finished here, you may like to hear this poem sung on myspace...

    Poem 162 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse
    (please see my blog):
    TEES TO TYNE: FIRST IMPRESSIONS - SUMMER 2001

    Where traditions are not so rare;
        Sea, country and works scent the air;
    A multitude of monuments,
        Planted tubs and patterned pavements.

    The longish pedestrian malls;
        The remnants of defensive walls;
    Historic buildings are a gauge
        Of the respect for heritage.

    Wheat, rape and pines in the fields;
        Estuaries guarded by shields;
    Long sandy beaches and wide scenes;
        Romantic-ruin go-betweens.

    Rivers in parts licked by trees,
        Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries,
    And crossed by practical delights -
        Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.

    Fine churches headed at Durham;
        Football kits ad infinitum;
    Kept castles - one for study;
        Masonry behind masonry.

    And, with moulding-works out that way,
    It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?

    from RADICAL PASSIONZ

    "Confection"
    (11.09.06)

    Locked and loaded and cocked,
    He has identified his target,
    Standing before him this oasis of caramel chocolate morsels,
    Shall he bite her candy,
    Kiss her hands, her lips, her hips,
    Those panties are now edible,
    Her physique has all ways remained incredible,
    Taking aim at her curvaceously chiseled feminine delight,
    The anticipation of her patient explosions throughout the night,
    These unbearable vibrations coming from her center,
    He enters into her,

    It is now Their experience,
    Their natural prowess,
    Their sexual powers,
    Their flow,
    Him and Her,
    Purrs and hisses and wet kisses,
    Fantasies and pleasurable wishes,
    What is this,
    Bliss of the abyss.

    Thanks 4 the ADDD! here is a lil sum 4 ya hope to hear back from you soon...

    I am not my scars
    I know you see my pains reflection through the window of my eye
    Every let down, misconception, every hurt, and every lie.
    I try to cover up, yet my nakedness still shows,
    You see me, in my truest form, I am vulnerable and exposed.
    Sometimes the phantom of my past appears, though I try to forget
    Even when I hide it in the darkness, I still see its silhouette.
    So why do I regret…? These events are the fabric of who I’ve come to be
    Every instance like a fiber woven in my life’s tapestry.
    I can only look back for wisdom, I must let this be my strength
    But even I have yet to discover the true extent of its length.
    I have only gone so deep, on the surface it hurts so much
    When I feel my ugliness visible, I just want to cover up.
    But these memories, the pain from my past, and what I see…
    This is only an illusion, not the definition of me.
    I am not my downfalls, and I am not my mistakes,
    Yet when they look at me, this is all they seem to take.
    But look at ME, look into my soul…
    Look at who I really am, not the scars that clearly show.
    I have to remind myself who I am every day,
    Because everyone and everything tries to lead my mind astray.
    They want me to believe I am who they see me to be…
    They try to show me what I’ve overcome as if it’s still me.
    Will I live up to be the conceptions as they have made
    Or will I make my own path, let the past lie where it may
    See, I am not my scars, my scars are just the proof
    That I have healed from my afflictions, and I have made it through.
    -Fiyah

    Truth & Lies

    They Lied To Me When They Said
    “Time Will Heal Every Wound!”
    Tht Another Lovers’ Touch
    Could Ever Replace The Passion Tht Your Lips Consumed.
    Tht Your Kiss… No Matter Hw Sweet…
    No Matter Hw Perfect Our Embrace...
    Would One Day Be Swallowed Up By The Masses
    Until I No Longer Recognize Your Face.
    They Said “Many Day Will Become Nights
    & Many Nights Will Become Weeks…”
    Tht For A Season It Will Feel Like Torture
    Between The Moments Tht We Speak!
    But After Weeks Become Months
    & Months Become Years,
    One Morning Tht 1st Impulse To Call Out Your Name
    Would Simply Disappear!
    One Evening Tht FAITHFUL Moon
    That, Once, Guided My Heart To Yours,
    Would, Instead, Lead My Midnight Flight
    To The Edge Of Obsidian Shores.
    They Said “Look Around You? What Do You See…
    Beyond The Summer Bloom Of The Mimosa?
    Those Same People Who SPAT On Christ
    As HE Stumbled Down The True Via Dolorosa!?”
    The Same People Who Claimed To Be Children Of Light
    But Cast Shadows Over Your Moments Of Lose!?”
    They Said “Not Every Man Is Meant To Embrace True Love -
    So Brotha’ Lay Down Your Heavy Cross!”
    ...Tht My Sacrifice Would Be In Vain,
    Because No Matter Hw Hard We Tried,
    No One Will Ever Know Hw Much I Love You...
    But THOSE Mutha*****’s Lied!
    How Could I Rip Out This Crown Of Thorns,
    Tht SO Deeply Pierces My Heart?
    Knowing Tht Heaven & Earth Are Bound By The Promise
    Of Our Souls NEVER Being TRULY Apart!?

    (Hi: enjoyed my visit.)

    After you've finished here, you may like to hear this poem sung on myspace...

    Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse
    (please see my blog):
    WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN

    Once drove an old sedan, up north,
    From a place in Sydney to Cairns;
    Then to Kuranda I went forth,
    By train, to look without set plans.

    I browsed through the trendy market,
    With fresh fruits of tropical kind;
    Walked to the creek through lush thicket -
    Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.

    I dined in a scenic cafe;
    Then, outside, as I wrote for yen,
    Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey,
    You go walkabout with your pen.”

    Request or question, I don’t know -
    Assured voices, elderly men.
    That’s now several years ago,
    And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
