I was born at the crossroads . . . rock, jazz, hip-hop, blues, folk, classical . . . it’s all one big circle. It’s all a piece of the puzzle; it’s all part of the game. We’ve opened the doors of perception, but I don’t believe in the post-modernist theory that everything that can be done has been done, and that everything is just a recombination of what’s been done in the past. You have to make music for your time, and the time has come. People ask me when I started making music. I started making music when I was born, and possibly before. I was raised around people who were playing all different kinds of music, and it got inside of me waiting to spill back out. We didn’t create it but these days it turns out that we are, in fact, the ones keeping it alive. Music with real meaning is fading away. Most modern music is manufactured by a corporation and it doesn’t mean anything, and that’s the sad truth. When I was a child, we all listened to music about revolution and we thought that we were changing the world, but we weren’t. We were just buying media that made us feel like we were changing something. If I could say one thing to the youth of America with a whole heart, it’s this, “Stop living a Hollywood fantasy. Stop buying your revolutions. Band together. Turn off your goddamn TV and start a revolution!” I love music and I am a fan of music… and that’s why I make music. I don’t know if there’s gold at the end of the world, but I do know that one second of the truth is worth a lifetime of lies. Cheers!

Music producer and singer/songwriter Anthony Joseph, along with guitarist Shane Johnson and drummer Hope Sullivan-McMickle from The Mathematics, formed Sound Of Days in 2006. They began recording their first collection of songs in 2007. Their first album, "Stones In The Pathway" was released in 2008.
