Northwood grew from the shrubs of Kentish Town in the summer of 2005. The songs are written by Soren and the band has since recorded and brought them to stages in London, NYC and Copenhagen.
We've just recorded a load of new songs with Danish producer Thomas Johansen - you can listen to three of them on this website. Track 2, "Boost Me Up", is from our EP The Sound Of Northwood of last year.
Northwood, under the guise of Munk&Dyson, are also composers for Lauren Child. Credits include the official theme tunes for Clarice Bean, Charlie & Lola and Hubert Horatio. We are currently doing the Ruby Redfort theme tune.
Northwood are gigging at the moment - if you want to catch a show then become a friend and we'll send you details. For other info send us a message.
Baby you are SOOOO cool! I LOVE the new ones, especially A Way Too Long. And of course, Watergun, which I will forever see as My Own Soren singing in the Caledonian Road flat and being so frickin' COOL, dammit. All that and the polar bears dig you too. Oooh and I love the new logo. Jeeez, am I gushing a little too much?
