Sound of Rum formed in the summer of 2008. Since then rapper Kate Tempest, guitarist Archie Marsh and drummer Ferry Lawrenson have been playing gigs all over Britain, at every festival going - whether on actual stages or just busking in the rain.
Their first EP Balance is available to buy at www.soundofrum.com The second EP, Best Intentions, will also be available soon. They are grinding the will out of ppl at the first phase of an engineered meltdown....I'm so fortunate to have a Soung Girlfriend who is the most knowlegable dubstep connaisseur in Bristol along with the no 1 Artist for Backdrops for Soundsystems..We,ve got a Skateramp in warehouse...toke and choke..and I'm working on geting together a fucking army to take down this fucking Government
You guys are audio-chemicallly enhancing the world!!! massive respect !! i saw you play the electric picnic in ireland earlier this month and i was hooked instantly! Do you think you will be playing anymore Irish dates this year or early next? The Roisin Dubh in Galway city would be a fantastic venue for you guys to play, or anywhere in Galway for that matter :D
