Sound Of Silence se formó en el año 1999, pero no es hasta
poco antes de la grabación del SPLIT con Legacy Of Cain [2005],
con el desaparecido sello madrileño "Conviction Records", cuando
damos con la formación definitiva y actual.
Sound Of Silence somos: Nefta [voz], Sete [guitarra], Rubo [guitarra],Javi [bajo] y Michel [batería].
El Split con Legacy Of Cain, nos dio la oportunidad de empezar a tocar por diversas ciudades de España compartiendo escenario con bandas como Dismember, 100 Demons, Walls Of Jericho, Caliban..., y a hacernos un pequeño hueco en lo que es la escena nacional.
En 2007 editamos nuestro primer trabajo en solitario con Underhill Records, "La Casa De Los Lamentos", que fué seleccionado entre los mejores discos del año en revistas como RockHard y Mondosonoro y muy bien acogido en varias webs especializadas tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
En julio de 2008 acabamos de editar otro trabajo con el nombre de "Nuestro Amor A La Agonía" compuesto por 3 temas nuevos, los 5 del SPLIT con Legacy Of Cain remezclados y remasterizados y nuestro primer videoclip del tema "Un triste final".
Seguimos preparando nuevos temas para lo que será la grabación de nuestro próximo disco, que está prevista para después del verano y cerrando fechas para la presentación de "Nuestro Amor A La Agonía" y del nuevo merch por
toda la península, incluída una gira prevista para octubre.

Sound of Silence started as a band in the year 2004 by former members from some of the most notorious spanish bands from the latest years (Escuela de Odio, Ôkban, Another Day…).
Their first release came in 2005, as a split album with Legacy of Cain, released through the record label Conviction Records. With this album they received killer reviews.
Thanks to that they toured Spain all over and played in many festivals and shows with different bands like Sick Of It All, Walls Of Jericho, Dismember, 100 Demons or Undying. Their explosive mixture of Scandinavian death metal and American metal places them as one of the most impressive bands in the genre and the most important to emerge from Spain in the last few years.
Already in 2007 the band signed with Underhill, and recorded their debut album –La casa de los lamentos- where the evolution of the band is simply amazing, both in composition and technically, adding to their past influences new ones that relate sometimes with noisecore, math metal and even grindcore, without losing their unique personal sound.
