Forget everything you know about Denver, Colorado. Forget that Denver has produced some of the best musical acts of our day. The Denver music scene and it's bands have thrived on each other for years in such an incestual way, cranking out more and more of the best talent anyone has heard. Sound of Sinners is the next evolution of the Denver music beast.
Sound of Sinners is a five-piece rock band formed around the core group of Chip Dzeidzic, Justin Hackl, Matt Clark, Andrew Vastola, and Mathu Hergenreter. Each member spending their fair share of time in the Denver spotlight, Sound of Sinners is the project that each one was meant for. Coming from pedigrees as diverse as tattoo punk (Love Me Destroyer), new wave hardcore (Cost Of Living), screamy singy crybaby emo (Grace Like Gravity and Ember), and faux brit pop (Curious Yellow), Sound of Sinners sounds nothing like the fusion of these sounds. It simply sounds like sinning.
As each member's previous bands dissolved over the Summer of 2005, Sound Of Sinners was born. Their first demo recorded in November holds the promise that this band, too, can be the next big act to come out of Denver.
