Just ramble to yourself, talk about the sky, or just talk about things that make you joyful, happy, angry, sad, or any other emotions you may be experiencing. By writing every day, you achieve 3 goals. -1st. You let a stream of conscious & unconscious thoughts flow to many words, ideas, and emotions that would not have been otherwise expressed. -2nd. All free-writing will effortlessly lead to many song ideas and will also free the mind of unnecessary clutter. -3rd. The more you write, the more you will start to hear and understand your unique voice, your style of writing, and your unique way of interpreting your experiences and interactions with the world. Once you have found your own means of thought and speaking through writing, it is easy to blend them into your unique style of music. Everyone is different. Therefore, everyone will have a different 'sound'.
