Most have a sort of techno/dance/disco feel to them, but there are elements of noise, grindcore, ambient, trip-hop, and countless other styles thrown in there. All the songs are relatively short (usually around a minute and a half), and comprised entirely of samples.
Most of the time, the drum beats are constructed using sampled percussion elements from multiple songs (a kick from here, a snare from here, crash cymbal from this, hi-hats from that, etc.), so the timbre and volume of any one given percussion sound will sometimes vary wildly.
From 2000-2004, I made more than 11 hours of music at my office job. I cut and pasted samples from thousands of CDs into brief, bizarre groove collages -- using nothing but the Windows Sound Recorder program.
