Sounds Like
Most have a sort of techno/dance/disco feel to them, but there are elements of noise, grindcore, ambient, trip-hop, and countless other styles thrown in there. All the songs are relatively short (usually around a minute and a half), and comprised entirely of samples.
Most of the time, the drum beats are constructed using sampled percussion elements from multiple songs (a kick from here, a snare from here, crash cymbal from this, hi-hats from that, etc.), so the timbre and volume of any one given percussion sound will sometimes vary wildly.
I've been making music at my office job for almost five years. I cut and paste samples from thousands of CDs into brief, bizarre dance collages--using nothing but the Windows Sound Recorder program.
So far, nobody has any idea what I've been doing all this time. Here is the list of completed song titles--521 songs and counting.
