SoundSession'09 is New England's premier summer music festival in Rhode Island's capital city. A multi-stage, genre-defying event, the festival is produced by the Providence Black Repertory Company in collaboration with the City of Providence Department of Art, Culture & Tourism.
OUR VISION In curating this festival we picked acts the way a good DJ picks his tracks, making selections that excite, educate, surprise and inspire a crowd. It's in the mix - in the combination of cultures and styles - that artistic excellence stands out.
