Soundshine Movement was founded in 2002 in Aachen Germany. It was founded by
TheBestian [Sebastian], Selecta, Operator,
Promoter und B-Tuff [Björn], MC, Selecta who were both musicians with different backgrounds and roots. That time B-tuff was a former Hip-Hop-Dj who was more and more influenced by Dancehall-Music. So after sometime his selections were including more and more Dancehall-Tunes. And guess what!?!..The massive was loving it!!!
TheBestian was also selecting music, but mostly played Roots and Dub
and produced his own Riddims using a PC and his guitar!!!
With the founding of Soundshine-Movement both of them used their different backgrounds to create a new high-quality sound including all styles of music they used and loved to play. The main thing to them was, not to kopy the jamaican role model of a sound-system, but to enrich this prototype and develope an own multilateral and many-sided sound!!!
Their first dances took place inna AZ in Aachen. But soon the massive grew bigger and bigger and so bigger locations were needed.
In addition to the monthly dances, The Movement founded the "Wednesday..s Dancehall", where they chared the turntables with Mystical Force and other Soundsystems and Seletors.
During the next years the Movement organized more and more Dances in different locations in Aachen, and was more and more booked for dances in other citys.The first highlight was definitely a gig at the Summerjam 2003 in Cologne-Bay.
In the following years The Movement played with artists like Sebastian Sturm, Smiley, Jahlingua, The Mighty Tolga, Rebellion the Recaller, Glittershine, Mizz Lizz a.m.m.!!! Furthermore they played with Sounds like Warrior-Sound-International, Sound-Vibration, City-Lock, Culture Rock, Run Dem, Runn Sound, Mystical Force a.m.m.!!!
After some time TheBestian started an intensiv work with KingSizeBeatz, which offered more possibilitys based on a strong community.
KingSizeBeatz is a large community of artists, which is promoting and supporting Soundshine-Movement. They organize special Music, Art and Culture events like the yearly open air festival "Chill..n Grill" and others.
In 2007 and seven B-Tuff discovered his talent as a Sing-Jay is recording his own tunes at KingSizeBeatz.
So you see that is the story of Soundshine-Movement!!! And know: Wake the town and tell the people, cause The Movement is coming your way!!!
