2009 Lineup set to Rock Farragut Square Park
***UPDATE: June 4 concert with Rebelicious has been canceled due to the weather. check back later for an updated rain date schedule***
Downtown DC heats up again this summer with the free 2009 Sounds in the Square concert series held in Farragut Square Park (Connecticut Avenue & K Streets NW)on Thursday evenings from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in June and July.
Grab a blanket and some friends and hit the park after work to take part in the local music scene. This year’s series will feature some of the area’s most popular local bands and great entertainment: Jah Works, Kelly Bell Band, JunkFood, Crowded Streets, Rebelicious, Road Soda, Gonzo's Nose, and Orquesta La Romana.
The Sounds in the Square concert series in Farragut Park is conveniently located between the Farragut North and Farragut West Metro stations. Visit Metro's website www.MetroOpensDoors.com for more info on how to get there.
