Bio:

Daniel Brennan is a young and engaging, contemporary Western Australian singer/songwriter, who tingles the spine with his heartfelt, emotion filled lyrics. Daniel has a subtle way of hitting home with his songs, and blended with infectious mainstream melodies, his alternative acoustic style boasts a radio friendly sound suitable for all walks of life. It was once said that "with great emotion, comes great music" and Daniel is far from dishonouring that statement.

Now residing in Victoria, Daniel has used the big move to really develop his musical aspirations into a tangible reality. His hard working, do-it yourself style means that no challenge is too great or too small and combined with his lengthy list of live shows and the recently released debut EP “End of Reticence,” Daniel has began to gain attention and recognition from music lovers and industry professionals alike. For Daniel, this is just the beginning of what he hopes will be a long and flourishing career in the music industry where he can “live the dream” doing what he loves.

Amidst his busy live schedule in 2009, Daniel supported Diesel, Daryl Braithwaite and Jon Stevens (Noiseworks) at The Barwon Heads Hotel to glowing reviews. His ballsy solo live performance is breath taking and makes you wonder just how deep this guy really goes to have the guts to “bare all” for anyone that wants to listen. His love for performing really shines through in the raw emotion that he conveys in each and every one of his songs. Daniel makes every song he plays feel like it was written and performed solely for you, which makes it a joy to see him live, over and over again.

Daniel Brennan is now working with pianist Marcus Janetzki, and back-up vocalist April Thursday to really fill out the songs. The addition of Marcus and April adds a different dynamic to the depth of Daniel’s sound and has raised the bar for Daniel’s live shows. Now with new members, and a new and improved set list, Daniel is ready for whatever comes his way when he hits the road in 2010.
