At first sight,
the idea that we can catch moods, habits and state of health not only to those around us, but also those we do not even know seems alarming. It implies that rather than being in charge of where we are going in life, we are little more than backseat drivers, since most social influence operates at a subconscious level.
but,
by being aware of this; the effects of social contagion,
we may be able to find ways to counter it, or use it to our own benefit.

Comic Con was great, came back with a lot of stuff (mostly freebies lol), comics, books, a sign from Jhonen Vasquez and Max Brooks =D saw a few awesome cosplays and spent the next afternoon at the beach in san diego so i guess it was quite a nice weekend =P
Next year get a big box and fed ex yourself to san diego~! =D
The week before my operation my dad talked to a girl that had just had her wisdom teeth taken out and he said her face was all bruised. But my face was just slightly swollen. I went and saw the doc this morning and he told me the bone has to grow in where the teeth where removed and that might take a couple of months... I think he said months, but I'm not sure, I took a bit too much panadol and I'm a bit stoned.
HAHA! I'm not in a fight club or anything, although I did spit blood and pretended I was Brad Pitt at one point. Nah, I just got my wisdom teeth pulled... I HAVE STITCHES INSIDE MY MOUTH! God it's awful, I've never wanted to eat a triple cheese burger with bacon more in my life.
I'm in the middle of #3, and I'm really enjoying it! but after this, I'll probably just stick to my downloaded copies. I'm sad I didn't get into it sooner. :(
LOL. I THOUGHT I SAW YOU. I didn't know you were behind me though! Did you hear me say "I think I saw someone I know from the internet, but I'm not sure, so I'm not going to say hi"? that was you. ;) After the movie I went to the library. I ended up getting #1-6 of Runaways. I have them downloaded, but this way I can read it anywhere.
