POLLEN RIP...
Pollen was a group of friends in Leeds, UK putting on mash up shows between 2005 and 2008. We had the privilege of working with some of our favourite artists and putting on some of the most cutting edge performers from all over the world.
Keep an eye out for Gavin aka PUMPKINAGHERKIN djing the best record collection in Yorkshire. Rob has a new venture in the guise of POLLINATE RECORDS and he's performing and djing in London and the rest of the UK under the name SQUARED°. Matt is one half of
SYNTHIA and Mark is now known as YORKSHIREGUESE
We'd like to thank everyone that attended our gigs and every performer that came all the way to play. Special thanks to our lovely girlfriends, Nathan and family at The Brudenell, Paul at The Bassment/Crash, Burley Park Social, Fenton, Packhorse, The Common Place, Matt at Jumbo and Tom at Tribe, Team Cops & Robbers, Stu and Moz and everyone else made our gigs happen.
Every show will live in our memories for ever, especially The Bug's road blocked show, Kid 606 falling asleep next to the speaker rack, Kevin Blechdom slapping pizza on her chest, Kid Kameleon's digi-dub soundtrack session to an England world cup match, the legendary Zuinosin for simply being legends, Chris Rusko for always running up to me and shouting DUUUBBBSSTTTEEPP!!! in my face before running off again, the Hessle Audio crew for showing up to nearly every gig and DJ Scotch Egg for all the fun times...
Perhaps we'll come back one day, never say never...but for now it's goodnight. X
