humming to AM radio. old cassettes. headaches. red eyes. mis-heard words, mis-heard tunes. broken speakers. low batteries. broken headphones that only work in one ear. something sweet made from the things everyone else throws away.
sydney 1997: started as Dave, Grobbo and Rohan (drums) - dave played guitar through numerous guitar & bass amps to make us the loudest 3-piece garage band the world has known. well, it was kinda loud. Beef joined soon after and by our 2nd show were were 4.
Eventually we kinda changed tack - Rohan (reluctantly) left and Matt Bonson joined on drums and we released 'saturdays' on Modular. Matt left and Vig joined on drums for a few months. Modular dropped us. Vig was awesome but went awol when - unbeknownst to him - we had a show coming up and so we had a midweek jam with Tobey on drums and it turned out so good we had the horrible task of confessing to Vig that 'while you were away there was uhh, someone else'...and this has been the way family has looked for about the last 3 yrs now.
Stefan Zagorski's label Architecture picked us up and released 'invisible' in sep 2005 - and here we are...
