ATLAS HANOUMAN :Didgeridoo. The great player of the new generation. He played with great masters from last generation as Alan Dargin,Marc Atkins,Janawirri,Gumaroy ,Ganga Giri and others. He was given autorisation and blessed by a tribal aboriginal elder from Arnem Land (custodian of the yidaki).You can recognize his original way of playing all over the world.
GUILHEM VERGER : Saxophone and effects. He played with Jazz masters as Billy Hart (Miles Davis drummer), Riccardo Del Fra (Chet Baker doublebassist), Daniel Humair..., but plays all the musics wich are living.
VINCENT-OLIVIER GONZALEZ : Drums and Percussions.He grooves from all his body, and loves to be a colorist too. Always playing with a fat and warm sound...

The band “SOUNDS OF ATLAS” has his origins on the streets of Toulouse, where Didgeridoo player Jasper ATLAS met the tenor Sax of Guilhem VERGER. The news spread rapidly and they were invited in theatres and bars: La Mounède, Salle du Cap, Père Peinard, l’Endroit, Le Filochard, Chez Azzo, aso… but also in nearby cities as Narbonne, Carcassonne, Albi and Béziers.
The two horns were reinforced with a drummer and a guitarist.
Never repudiating their origins they continue playing in small or big formation on street, to have the most heterogeneous audiences imaginable.
Their first album ”Psychozoïc Area ( Urban Mystification Beat!)” is released in August 2006.
On the streets as well under smaller skys the music of SOUNDS OF ATLAS is sweeping the public.
Based on the Didgeridoo Trance their music is mixing influences of Tribal, Rock, Jazz and World-music always with Groove and Melody.They played at "BERLIN FUSION FESTIVAL"and at "SWIZZERIDOO" the swiss didgeridoo festival and had great responce from the audiance.In 2008 they played at the famous didgeridoo festival "LE REVE DE L'ABORIGENE" and had great responce from the public too.
They are in this moment composing a new album.
