Welcome to the only Official SSA myspace. We have needed to put one up for a while. Here you can find out info about the forum, web site and all things audio. Occasionally we might put up news about a sale or a new product coming out, or even raffles and contests. Email support@soundsolutionsaudio.com if you are an SSA member and want to have a picture in the member rides picture section. If you are a dealer and interested in the SSA sub woofer line, email us at support@soundsolutionsaudio.com or send us a message right here and we would love to talk to you. There will be periodic updates and additions to this myspace, so check back often.
For all those of you out there who have no jobs but are willing to work there are jobs available!!!!!
We are always looking for people to come and join our exciting team of promoters. We do all kinds of street promoting and guerilla marketing. We normally have openings in New Jersey, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. Most spots are in the morning, but some are in the evening as well.
You can make between $7.15/hr to $10/hr. Shifts are normally 3-4 hours Monday through Friday
The morning work starts early (between 6am to 7am) and involves promoting amNewYork newspaper in various locations around the city.
Our evening projects are with various clients and begin between 3pm-4pm. Evening work is random with no guaranteed shifts, but we usually have at least 1 shift each week.
All of our projects involve promoting some type of free product (usually newspapers and magazines). There is no selling or collecting involved. You must be 18 years old and legal to work in the US. You must also have a valid state issued identification card as well as a social security card.
Being energetic, outgoing and friendly is a big plus also.
To learn more and complete the application process, you need to come to an OPEN HOUSE, they last about an hour and a half. At the OPEN HOUSE you'll get all the information you need to get into a spot as soon as possible.
OPEN HOUSES for spots in the 5 boroughs are in Queens on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm. They are held at 43-34 32nd Place (between Queens Blvd & Skillman Ave). To get there you should take the 7 train to 33rd St/Rawson Ave. It's only a 10 minute ride on the 7 train from 42nd St/Grand Central.
Anyone interested just need to call (646) 277-3731 and follow the recorded instructions or e-mail them at hawkers@am-ny.com; you can say you heard about the job from Jose, the supervisor of District 23.
