Welcome to The SOUNDS PHAT MASTERING myspace page! We are located on Palumbo Drive in Lexington,Ky. Our goal is to take your perfect mix and crank it up to 11! We use Pro Tools 7.1 as our platform since it can handle almost any type of sound file. Once your songs are uploaded, we use the Waves Platinum mastering plug-ins to give your song that extra boost and polish and, of course, we have access to the standard Pro Tools plug-ins as well.
We can take your final mixes from CD or DAT or even cassette! Sorry,but our 1/2" analog machine is down, so no tape masters please! The final mastered mixes are burned internally on the computer as an AIFF file with no mp3 compression added so they maintain the integrity of the master session.
We'll be updating the page with more "before and after" sound clips from some of our recent sessions in the very near future, so be our friend and check back often!!
