I hate the way you talk to me,
and the way you cut your hair
I hate the way you drive my car,
i hate it when you stare
I hate your big dumb combat boots,
and the way you read my mind
I hate you so much it makes me sick,
it even makes me rhyme
I hate the way you're always right,
i hate it when you lie
I hate it when you make me laugh,
even worse when you make me cry
I hate it when you're not around,
and the fact that you didn't call
But mostly i hate the way i dont hate you,
not even close
not even a little bit
not even at all

To sum it up quickly i base my life on films + music, COMIC BOOKS, GRAPHIC NOVELS, film based on comics, BRAT PACK, 80’S FILMS, RIOT GRRRL,DAVID BOWIE, PUNK PUNK PUNK,GEORGE HARRISON, THE BEATLES, 70'S PUNK, ELECTRO-PUNK, ZOMBIE FILMS, TIM BURTON, JOHN HUGHES, FEMINISM, DUCKIE, ZOMBIES, molly ringwald, 60's garage, psychedelia, 60's girl groups, surf, old punk, Industrial, punks, dandy punks, mods, aliens, spaceships, voodoo, drainpipes and vests/blazers, paranoia, batman, bloody mary, neat photography, hully gully, mudpie, pocketmouse, horrible old horror flicks, gigs, vinyl, fanboys, cats, silence, peering through key holes, industrial and experimental tracks, interesting attires, poetry, mob films, djing, mysteries, stargirl, ukeleles, anonymous notes, psychotic reactions, figuring out who the murderer is and conjuring up a few spells to get you to read this
Aww, I know what you mean. He was truly a legend and shaped a generation (that sounds really cheesy but it's true) He made teen movies real. And Christmas isn't the same without Home Alone!
I'm so flipping mad that Bruce is finally coming to Toronto for all these things and I'm not over there! Haha. He's probably the only person I'd go mental over if I saw him in the street.
Ipso were going to break up but apparently they're going to continue it at least for now. They're working on an album and they've just been added to Offset. It would have been weird though, because when I saw them that was potentially their last show ever and how strange would it be to finally see them after all of this time only to see their last show haha. They're definitely going more into a punk sound though, I think people will be pleasantly surprised like I was.
The room mates are great! There are five in total and a cat. It's a big house so it doesn't feel crowded or anything. It's just a shame because for me and one other girl it's only a summer let so in a month I have to get a new room somewhere else. I might be moving upwards to Bethnal Green or something though. When I first started hanging out in the Brick Lane/Shoreditch area I didn't really get the hype and why it would be so good to live there but since then I've realized I spend most of my time there... haha. Plus, it will be amazing to be able to walk home or just take a five minute bus as opposed to having to leave shows/club nights early to catch the last train to Lewisham. I guess in comparison it would be like living on College street in Toronto as opposed to a borough outside of the city (although London is actually very small).
sorry about the late reply i forgot about it..i mean that in a non bitchy, rude way
haha mm my brother says school in england is better than in america how funny is that, i've only seen it on t.v and films but looks oddly entertaining+fucked up=fun.
ive got a place at the local ten pin bowling place with lazer quest etc im starting in september, only temperarily as some scrotes pregnant haha sucks. then again doesnt everything :D
oo er im listening to Fergie-Clumsy for the millionth time, uncool yet addictive haha
Hanging out with Farha and Taz in Manchester was a blast, we went to a few record shops and such. Hahaa the nerdy shop incident was amazing, Taz knocked some action figures over and the clerk looked like he was going to cry. I live in London now! It's amazing. I'm in south London at the moment but moving eastwards next month. I've got no money but I've managed to sleuth into some shows for free so far. I went to 1234 Fest last week, it was amazing. I was somehow on VIP but it didn't really count because half the people there were on guest list and so there were more people in the VIP area than in the normal festival area haha. So far I've seen typical Londonish bands like Horrors, SCUM, An Experiment, The Ruling Class, Ipso Facto (who are actually really good live surprisingly), Hatcham, Ulterior, etc etc. Also saw Patrick Wolf and The Warlocks at 1234. Oh I met this one band I think you would love if you don't already know them, they're called the Ethical Debating Society. They're a proper riot grrl band, who admit that they can't actually play but do anyway. Their motto is "riots not diets" hahaha. My cousin is going to be working at Fanexpo, I'm always mad that I could never go. I am especially mad this year because the love of my life Bruce Campbell is going to be there! You have to go and get a photo of him for me or something, hahaha. I actually really miss Toronto. Some parts of London remind me of it. I always find myself talking about Sneaky Dees or Kensington market.
omg i just adore the books, i read it 4 years ago when i was a loner at the beginning of college, good times, howls moving castle the book is better in some ways, cos sophie talks to the hats she makes and women who wear them become pretty aand theres more about the 3 sisters, her 2 sisters do spells to swap jobs and stuff. i love it. im still reading castle in the air :)
i had 'the promise of the world' on my meespace months ago, thats the ending song, its so cute its amazing. i have to buy the soundtrack and i literally want calcifer!? :D si, mr bales voice is perfect. im trying to watch it after a long time cos its bliss :) xxxxxxx
haha you should be careful and just pay up..that woman shouldve got punched though.
your names lovely, it reminds me of this book where theres fairies and theres one called felicity..urm its for kids but i liked it :D
aw trust me i have aspophilia haha but these geeks were up thier own asses not that id hit on them with taz there hah shed kill mee.
it was a show where you get a free ticket for charity work, we painted a primary school wall, last year people in london got to see busta rhymes..hes better than gaga the half naked horse in a blonde wig, her drummer had long hair but i found him fiiine :o there were clips of me and taz but i couldnt look when i came on, i was FAT :I
felicia? i thought you were holly? haha im scared :p alanah told me i was like pfft i know that :)
shes lovely, we hung out twice, it was soo funny cos one time we took her to a geeky dungeon and dragon store which stunk of geeks. we were 'playing' this massive expensive game, and taz got bored and smacked all the handpainted figures down. it was so embarrasing but hilarious cos the dorky guy was about to have a heart attack haha we won! or not.. alanah was shocked but meh taz always does things like that :D we got upto random stuff, oo and the horrors were good, the old stuff wasnt as good tbh.
and and me and taz are on t.v next week, argh. we saw lady gaga, theres something i dont like about her, i didnt like her. anyway what you doooing? x
yeah i'm all set now, it's a relief after all this traveling around haha. it was like the longest vacation ever. which is fun and all but eventually you just want to settle in. well the only thing about canada that i miss are friends and family haha. but sometimes i find myself talking about certain places in toronto. i haven't found a place for band shirts yet, i miss criminal records!
well as long as i dont end up waitressing for the rest of my life i guess i dunno :|
im not gonna rule out uni yet though cos i might find something i likes..doubt it though.
h&m is mint well when i can find summat decent anyway, she sounds a bitch, i remember when i got fired from the sandwich shop during work experience, cos my then friends would come in and shout oo er it smells then id skip off with them haha it was shit cos i didnt expect it so i criied in front of my dad :o i was 15
manchester has been rad, the record stores here are all smiths/morrissey-mania so obviously i'm enjoying that haha. yeah i'm looking forward to the show, it's so rad that farha and the girls are giving me a ticket. i did have that rich mix show back in march but i think this will be better as it's a proper concert and not a showcase. i'll take lots of photos :)!
finally, someone who speaks sense. well i dont want to be in debt all my life due to oh so much fun in uni and those amazing grades (yeah right) so im looking for a full time decent job. my parents think im mad..its the recession. haha. how come you got fired? hang in there and dont worry il get pics :) xx
hm i recently dropped out of uni, cos im a tard and im confused, i wasnt getting anywhere :|
we have the horrors sooon, alanah is filling in for asma. taz and my dad set off to america today cos my brothers getting married on friday , its wierd, i feel old.
yeah manchester is definitely one of my favourite cities in the world, and the last time i was here was only a week when i first landed, so i'm happy to be here! i never got to go to nxne, that would be so great! was it last year or the year before that these new puritans played? i just remember i ended up not going and i was super peeved haha. imagine all the things you'll get to go to once you are 19 though (or at least have decent id haha) toronto's really gone upwards over the years in terms of good shows. well if all things go to plan i will be sharing a house with like, 4 other people haha. i don't even know any details yet. i am just relieved it's a six-bedroom house where everyone will have their own room. not like some of these places where there's 3 people in one room... eugh. i could never do that. not that i have a thing against sharing, but with strangers? it's unusually common in london i guess. but i lucked out as two of the tennants are people i know, and the others are their uni friends. so no weirdos, thank goodness.
thanks! i thought my hair needed a big change, it was a random decision haha.
i can't believe the horrors aren't headlining anything over there what with the album release, you would think they'd want a bit more promo. i hope you get a decent id! they're surprisingly not too hard to find. i used to go in basement stores in toronto and see them on counters all the time.
i'm currently in manchester again for a little while at my uncles. the place i am moving into in london isn't available until mid june so i just came back up here until then. it's one of my favourite cities so i figured why not, you know? i actually watched control last night and it wasn't until the end of the movie that i realized i had already walked by a lot of the places seen in that film haha.
there are so many concerts coming up too, i need to stop myself from going to some else i'll be well broke.
any other bands than the horrors/kills that you have planned on seeing?

its all the same. its this new london scene that the fuckin NME go on about. fuck it. all of them make similar music, dress the same, smack on bowl haircuts (poor taz did it centuaries ago). oh and they like experiment with a tit pump..telling you much. run holly ruun :O
but if you like them thats cool.
the horrors are strange good, i miss the old stuff but band has to move on i suppose. cant waait.
expect huge changes from us is all im saying, we do the opposite of everyone else. and we have news, Taz will tell y'all.
is it easter yet? everyone in my house keeps eating chocolate..i havent!
oo no, who are they? what happened to that forum, it was fun even though im not into NC much now cos they cancelled the 2nd gig here. it broke my heart waaa :') haha ah well, it was because of poor ticket sales but they said 'john was ill' hmm
si si new sound, songs, pics, gigs. the works. keeping the name though..i think.
good look with the assignmets, and remember repeating yourself takes up the word count..but you may sound tardy :) meh i do it.
no way. i thought you were my age, 18 is the best age..it goes downhill after that.
having i.d aint all that cos its a bitch when you constantly have to pull it out.
i have tickets to see the horrors with the girls. and my husband (ok maybe hes not but im either married or divorced..makes sense to me. v. wierd i know) Morgan has something planned :)
we have loads of work like you but aah im just a lazy moo. cba. rather be a failure then stressed/suicidal haha..i need a kick up the arse.
i was in pain for days after that night. yess i was a fatty, im on a diet now ive lost half a stone in less than a week, talk about crash dieting, dread putting it all back on though.
The band will be up and running in the summer, make some changes and whatnot.
