Sound Wars specializes in all things audio: tracking, mixing, and mastering in HD quality. We work with all genres of music - From Death Metal to Jazz and R&B to Electronica. We feature a mix room, a live room, and also monthly and hourly rehearsal spaces. Bands from outside the area, or artists that do their own home recordings, may also inquire about our many individual packages such as: Editing audio, guitar re-amping, drum replacement, tuning vocals, instrumentation, arranging, song writing, mixing, and mastering.

Sound Wars Studios is located in Hoboken, NJ. The studio was formerly called Hi-Fi Studios and was located in Union City, NJ. ILL NINO's "One Nation Underground" was recorded there. The studios are run by Laz Pina, Cristian Machado of ILL NINO, and Muneca Munoz who's also our close friend/engineer/audio geek. Our goal at Sound Wars is to see your vision through to the very last step without making any compromises. Audio is our obsession and your song is our baby.
Throughout the years Machado & Pina have gone on to sell well over 1.5 million records worldwide. They've collaborated with artists such as Jamie Jasta (Hatebreed), Max Cavalera (Sepultura, Soulfly), Dino Cazares (Fear Factory, Divine Heresy), and Chino Moreno (Deftones, Team Sleep). Also, we've had the pleasure of working work with some amazing producers and engineers. Most of which have influenced the sound of music today in more ways than one:
