About SOUNDXS

Stéphane used to be in an electro-pop outfit which lasted a couple of years and when the band split, he decided to go it alone in 2004. Sound XS was born. This new project remained a solo one for a while but Claire soon joined Stéphane to write lyrics and sing on some of the songs. The music covers a range of electro sounds, from minimalist to pop. We like to think of ourselves as a “noughties” band with a distinctive 80s flavour. Influences are wide and varied and range from Fad Gadget to Godlfrapp, Depeche Mode to Tiga and quite a few guitar bands too ! Sound XS have won a Pure demo contest in 2006 (www.puredemo.be) and Pure FM have played their song “I Don’t Get You” during one week. Sound XS have played in various clubs in Brussels, Liège, Mons etc.. We're in contact with a label. Our debut album will be released very soon. Stay tuned.
