SOURGRAPES is a zine of substance. Were about making your noggin' think by showing you lifestyles, music, and ways of thinking you might never of known existed- and in the mean time have a shitload of fun.

SOURGRAPES life began in the spring of 2006. It was created by 3 fogies and a dog listening top a Descendents 7". Our zine is based in Lex. KY. We focus on teaching kids about D.I.Y. ethics, being posi, and why its important to support local art and music. .. ..

You can submit to SourGrapes Zine randomly anytime... We accept submissions from anyone, no matter your age, location, or gender! We accept letters, photography, art, rants, editorials, music reviews, zine reviews. Pretty much anything that can stick onto paper we will photocopy. Dont be afraid to submit your art. It has to be super sucky to be turned down. Any racist, homophobic, bias, or just plain nasty-hate shit will automatically be turned down. Sorry assholes.

Be smart. Be yourself. And submit your own creations.

WHATS-A-ZINE (AND HOW IT WORKS):
Hold up! What is all this talk about "zine", you ask? A zine is a self published, non-profit , work created by all sorts of folks. Zines (as in maga-zines) can be about anything and anyone can create them! Most zines are non-profit (including SG!) and make no- or very little money (all of which goes back into creating the next issue). Through reader support and donation you can help keep your local zine alive!
