About me:

With the resilience of a shark and swinging fists that would send Mike Tyson crying for his momma, DJ Mouse is a high-spirited cross between a glitzy Jazz Age flapper girl and an in-your-face punk rocker. She's equally comfortable spending a weekend in a quiet place reading 19th century literature or guzzling down multiple pints of Guinness in the parking lot outside a club, smashing stuff. She also owns an art gallery, Davenport & Winkleperry, in Pittsboro, NC, so you know she's classy.

She was a resident DJ at Ringside in Durham for 6 years for several monthly events including Dracula's Daughter: Goth/Industrial Night, Hang the DJ: 80's night, and Retro-A-GoGo: Retro/Alternative Night. She has spun music all over the country, at Shampoo in Philadelphia, the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Masquerade in Atlanta, and Amos' Southend in Charlotte, just to name a few. In her alter-ego, Emmett Davenport, she co-hosts, The Clockwork Cabaret, every Monday night at 11pm on WCOM 103.5 LP-FM Carrboro/Chapel Hill.
