Sourpulse are coming up to their year anniversary. They started off their journey playing to roughly 30 people in a primary school. And now, coming towards the end of their first year, they have managed to win the local Battle of the Bands, play at several private parties and feature in the Kerrang! Magazine. Who knows what their next year will bring? The band consists of a lovely bunch of people, who each have a little something to say to y’all ;)


Hey! I'm Erika, the singer. I've been singing since I was about 7 and yes, I was originally classically trained. This wasn't always fun since I love rock so much, I'm not a huge fan of classical. I met Izzy when I was 11, Jake and Tom when I was 14 and Ash fairly recently when I was 16. I love working with these guys, they never cease to amaze me and I hope to continue doing so for a long time. To all our fans out there, thank you for your support. To any doubters, I don't know about the rest of the guys, but I'm not giving up.


Hey this is Izzy Spint here :D I diddle on the guitar for Sourpulse and have been playing for 4 years. I originally came into Sourpulse playing the bass but eventually moved onto guitar when we found our current bassist, Ash. My music taste ranges between classical to jazz, Rock, deathcore, drum and bass and heavy metal. Basic drift is I like everything as long as it's played well and has something original that pokes out. I really want the band to move forward in the music business but most of all I want our music to move me and everyone else who tunes in to Sourpulse.


My name's Jake. I bring the weird 'n wonderful to the band. My influences start at Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, Frank Zappa and Led Zeppelin and end with Mozart, James Brown, The Seatbelts and so on.. You see what I mean right? I've always been a self-taught guitarist who'll indulge in pretty much any style of music - no preferences here! I might jones on over to Montana soon, to see what Franky was talkin' about.


Haiiiiiiiiiiii! My names Ash and I'm a bassist. Haha, kinda sounds like an AA meeting for bassists huh? Anyways I've been playing bass for a year and a lil' bit now and I'm self taught all the way. As far as my music taste goes I listen to death metal, thrash metal, and black metal… and my main bass playing influence is the great Cliff Burton (R.I.P), well what am I doing in this band then you ask… well I love playing all kinds of music, not just heavy or technical stuffs. On top of that, all the guys in Sourpulse are amazingly talented and lots of fun to work with, and the sort of music we play fits my style. Anyways yeah thats me :D Happy Trails !
