In the year 2007 Sour Soul was formed and its’ members are David (drums & bass), Marco (vocals, bass, sitar, piano & Hammond), Juan Ra (vocals, rhythm guitar & banjo), Javi (lead guitar & bass), and Nico (drums & percussion).
The band’s musical genre is rock with elements of psychedelia and also lots of funk, soul, and contemporary rock.
This Fall Sour Soul completed their first US Tour that begun on September 10 2009 and ended November 4 of the same year, Sour Soul played in important cities such as Las Vegas, San Diego, Denver, Minneapolis, San Antonio, Houston, El Paso, Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Francisco and many others. Sour Soul played more than 30 gigs in more than 20 cities.
During the Winter of 2007, the band went to Sonic Ranch Recording Studios in El Paso, Texas (http://www.sonicranch.com), and recorded “Frantic” and “Alucinar”, two songs produced by Ettore Grenci. In the Summer of 2008, seven songs followed the list; this time, Stephen Stuart Short (Paul McCartney, Echo and the Bunnymen, David Gilmour, Queen, Grateful Dead, Genesis and Peter Gabriel…) was commissioned to produce the material and that’s how the band’s debut album was conceived: Liquid Sky Divers.
Now, in Spring 2009, Sour Soul visited Sonic Ranch for the third time to add four new tracks to the album that were produced entirely by the band and thus, the recording sessions of Liquid Sky Divers were complete. The album’s reissue will be launched Winter 2009.

Sour Soul se forma en el 2007; David (batería y bajo), Marco (voz, bajo, cítara, piano y Hammond), Juan Ra (voz, guitarra y banjo), Javi (guitarra principal, bajo) y Nico (percusiones y batería) son sus integrantes.
El género de la banda es rock con importantes influencias del rock psicodélico de los años sesenta, además de mucho funk, pop y rock contemporáneo.
Durante el invierno del 2007, en los estudios de grabación Sonic Ranch en El Paso, Texas
(http://www.sonicranch.com), la banda grabó "Alucinar" y "Frantic", dos temas producidos por Ettore Grenci. En el verano del 2008, se sumaron siete temas más; esta vez la producción estuvo a cargo de Stephen Stuart Short (Paul McCartney, Echo and The Bunnymen, David Gilmour, Queen, Grateful Dead, Genesis y Peter Gabriel, entre otros); así terminó la primera edición de su álbum debut "Liquid Sky Divers".
Ahora en la primavera del 2009, Sour Soul regresa por tercera vez al Sonic Ranch a grabar 4 temas
más producidos por la banda y que completan el disco, que será reeditado próximamente.
