Welcome to Southampton Guildhall's MySpace page!
For those of you that don't know, Southampton Guildhall is in Southampton, UK, and is the largest multipurpose venue in the city, hosting a wide range of events from conferences to rock and pop concerts, dances/ balls to dinners, exhibitions to graduation ceremonies, comedy shows to fashion shows, exams to sporting events and so the list goes on.
This page will list up and coming touring concerts and comedy shows to start with, and we want all our artistes and their fans as friends, plus you can leave comments about the shows and the venue.
In the past we've had all sorts of people play, who when we get a minute we'll list somewhere on here!
Also, please leave us comments about the venue and the events you've been to, it's always nice to hear about your time with us.
Finally, if you 'd like to submit event reviews for our blog, please message them over, and we'll try and add them as soon as!

Please note that we do not book support bands ourselves, the promoters rent the venue, and provide all the support acts, so if you are looking to support a particular band, please contact the promoter for that show directly.

Hello Thanks for being our Friend! We are a 3-piece from Nottingham called Satnam's Tash who play Punk/Theatrical/Rock recently finishing a tour of Germany, ending in Berlin. We've also been played on FatCat Radio Recently. Here is a music video we made ourselves of one of our songs!

Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience.
Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from June 09 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.
