關於我：
South Bay Crafters is a group for chicks who like to craft, have fun and want to hang out with people who have similar interests, whether its painting, embroidery, sewing, polymer clay... anything!! You Must live in one of the following cities or be able to commute to Torrance, CA once to twice or more times a month for southbay crafters "get togethers" : Torrance, Gardena, Lawndale, Hawthorne, Redondo Beach, Long Beach, Inglewood, Hermosa Beach....
Requirements to join:
1.) You must be "crafty" it doesnt matter which type of craft you like, as long as you craft.
2.) You must be between the ages of 21 and 30.
3.) You must live in: Torrance, Gardena, Lawndale, Hawthorne, Redondo Beach, Long Beach, Inglewood, Hermosa Beach or be able to commute to Torrance, CA for southbay crafters "get togethers" (..ed days to be discussed)
4.) Have your own transportation and supplies, unless we are having a demonstration at a particular meeting, in that case supplies will be provided for you.
NOTES: This group is not intended for people who make "grandma-like" crafts, unless of course your grandma is into making those awesome day of the dead figurines. If you want to craft with other crafty chicks while possibly drinking beer and listening to punk rock join us.
Upon Acceptance to the South Bay Crafters you will be invited to a meeting with me, you will be given a folder with information, cards and more in it and you will be asked to pay a one time entrance fee of 15.00 (10.00 goes to the group funds and 5.00 goes to me for all the hard work i do. There is are also meeting dues of 4.00 per meeting which can be paid at the monthly "meeting/s". $2.00 goes to the club funds, $2.00 go to me. If you do not come to the meeting you still pay 2.00 to the group, but you must come to at least one of the meetings to remain in the south bay crafters.
What the f**k? Club funds? Money for you??! Well, club funds is a sort of savings for the club, to use for whatever we like, to get a booth together at a certain craft show, to get hoodies or tank tops made for us to wear, for group supplies anything related to the group. Some of the membership fee and monthly fee go to me, why? Because i take the time to do any computer related stuff for the group, maintain the South Bay Crafters online store and i bake you cookies or cupcakes and mix drinks for you during our meeting/s, thats why.
