ACTING CLASSES FOR EVERYONE!


YOUTH AND TEEN ACTING PROGRAM
Winter Session: January 6 - March 14, 2009
Weekly acting classes offered throughout the school year in fall, winter and spring sessions bring the creative process to life for kids ages 8-17, with performance opportunities for advanced students.

SUMMER THEATRE WORKSHOP
Classes begins July 27, 2009
The workshop is a two-week acting program for new students that allows children and teens to unlock their creative imaginations. SCR's summer acting camp.

EVENING CLASSES
Winter Session: January 12 - March 3, 2009
An extensive slate of classes designed for both career-minded professionals and those interested in personal growth and development are taught by top professionals in their field.

PROFESSIONAL INTENSIVE ACTING PROGRAM
June 1 - July 25, 2009
This nationally renowned eight-week summer program for serious acting students 18 and over (accepted by audition only) puts the finishing touches on training for careers in theatre, film and television.

    "What They Have" rocked! I was surprised how moved I was by the show.

    Years ago, John Glore came to the Iowa Playwrights Workshop for the festival and I'll always remember how generous he was with his time and supportive of emerging voices in the theatre. He continued to correspond with me long after his visit to campus that Spring.


    His personification of the mission of your theatre, and its commitment to developing not only new plays but the writers who write them is an inspiration.


    I hope there will be fresh opportunities for our student's to benefit from this connection, as I did so long ago.
