| General | For years beer culture in the south was nothing compared to the more beer-centric regions of the United States. Recently however Southerners have had something to be proud of. It is a whole new world for beer lovers in the South with new breweries, brew pubs and beer stores opening up. Southern beer culture has benefited from the efforts of many people and this forum is devoted to continuing these successes. Everyone on this forum has two things in common: a love of great beer and a love of the South. So please feel free to join and enjoy.

Blackstone Restaurant & Brewery will be celebrating the richness and heritage of American Craft Beer. Please come and celebrate with us. To help celebrate this week, Blackstone will roll-back beer prices fourteen years to 1994. We will be offering our award winning craft beer from 3pm to 6pm each day for $3 per pint.
Brewery Tours - May 17 ; 3pm - 6pm - A great opportunity to learn about Craft Beer and the way it is brewed. Our brewers will be available for questions and brewery tours.
American Craft Beer Week (May 12-18), which is celebrated annually, highlights the industry and culture of craft beer. This year, breweries and beer makers will also recognize their collective charitable contributions.
Changed to a weeklong event in 2006, the inaugural American Craft Beer Week was recognized by the U.S. Congress with House Resolution 753. The week has continued to grow with interest and support from beer enthusiasts and the media.

Florida Brewer's Guild Best Florida Beer Championship was a blast! All Weekend Long! A lot of great beer from around the state, great people representing their respective brands, and as usual, excellent support from the local craft beer enthusiasts! We were right around 1500 people this year, and again, it was a great time.

The Tower Card Discounts!!!
If you don't have your Tower Card, you may be missing out on some great discounts.
Every two months Tower places wine, beer and liquor on discount to all Tower Card holders. All other discounts still apply. Just tell a cashier you want a Tower Card, complete the form, and receive the discounts. The card will also track your purchases, so if you forget the name of the great wine you bought a month ago, we can check if you used your card. Pick up your card next time you are in the store!
