We formed in 2003 at a Wildhearts show. Following a couple of bandless years in the wilderness of higher learning we all wanted to start making music again, honest music, free of all the scenester cliches currently polluting our ears.
The first (self-titled) demo was recorded in January 2005 and the second, 'On Strike At The Rumour Mill' in October of the same year.
2005 proved to be quite eventful, we got our first two demos completed, and found our feet live, now we just wanted to get out there and play, which is how we spent most of 2006.
2007 saw us finish our third EP 'Painting Shadows', the songs from which are available to download from this page (be sure to let us know what you think). We've also done a couple of other recordings here and there and will hopefully have some new release news very soon. If you are in a band and want to play a show with us (wherever on the bill), or know of any places that we could play (venue, party etc.), let us know, we would love to hear from you.
Here's to 2008.....

"This is a bold and exciting sign of things to come. With any luck, both of these bands will very soon be eclipsing their more over-rated contemporaries. Watch them, and watch them closely." Rockmidgets.com (2008)
"TSC: Spirited with their performance, the band have a deep melodic heart with a raw exterior recalling Jawbox & Leatherhead, TAP: spiralling guitars and spluttered verses with the kneejerk frenetic qualities of early Rocket From The Crypt (sans horns) - A SUBBA-CULTCHA.COM SINGLE OF THE MONTH" Subba-Cultcha.com (2008)
What? The Look See Proof gig is tommorow? I thought it was Mon.I may have to come on my own as Jen is at the F1 and shes the only one that can put up with me (and my well documented problems) for more than two hours.
Our lager, Which art in barrels, Hallowed be thy drink. Thy will be drunk, (I will be drunk), At home as it is in the tavern. Give us this day our foamy head, And forgive us our spillage, As we forgive those who spill against us. And lead us not to incarceration, But deliver us from hangovers. For thine is the beer, the bitter, and the lager. Barmen.
