*SOUTHERN DRINKSTRUCTION born from an idea of the guitarist Ordnal in 2005, intending to create a band following the footsteps of early Heavy Metal, Thrash/Death Metal and Southern Rock, combined together.
Going around gigs and shops to stick up flyers with “members for a rough and alcoholic band wanted” written on and the like, one night, while covering the umpteenth club, Ordnal meets a dear friend who tears up his flyer and tells him, pointing to Bastard: “Here’s your singer!!!”.
Then the so famous “2 years, fuck” begin, among reharsals, line-up changes, curses and alcohol, until they find Eddie at drums.
In the Summer of 2007, helped by Cinghio (The Orange Man Theory) at bass guitar, they record at Stefano “Saul” Morabito’s “16th Cellar Studios” their first Cd, “Southern Drinkstruction”.
The Ep begins to go around with good results and the name of the band spreads up at once.
As soon as they find a stable line-up with Male at bass guitar, in the Autumn of 2007 they begin their live activity, gig after gig.
They work meanwhile on brand new drunken songs, carrying out the initial idea of centrifuge together Death, Blues, Southern, Trash, Stoner, Grind, Country, Punk, Rock’n’Roll, Doom and so on.
The results are 11 songs bottled into the self-produced full-lenght album “Drink With Us”, out on 11st of September 2009, once again recorded at Stefano “Saul” Morabito’s “16th Cellar Studios” during 2009.

*I SOUTHERN DRINKSTRUCTION nascono da un'idea del chitarrista Ordnal nel 2005, con l'intenzione di creare un gruppo che segua le orme del Proto-Heavy Metal, del Thrash/Death Metal e del Southern Rock che furono, unendoli insieme.
In giro tra concerti e negozi per attaccare volantini con scritto "cercasi componenti per gruppo grezzo e alcolico" e cose simili, una sera, tappezzando l'ennesimo locale, Ordnal vede arrivare un suo caro amico che gli strappa il volantino e gli dice (indicando Bastard): "Eccoti il cantante!!!".
Da lì iniziano i famosi "2 years, fuck" di prove, cambi di formazione, smadonnamenti e ubriacate, fino a quando non trovano Eddie alla batteria.
Nell’estate del 2007, con l'aiuto di Cinghio (The Orange Man Theory) al basso, incidono ai 16th Cellar Studios di Stefano "Saul" Morabito il loro primo Cd, “Southern Drinkstruction”, composto da 5 pezzi.
L' Ep inizia a girare con ottimi risultati e si sparge subito la voce dell'esistenza della band.
Appena trovata la formazione definitiva con Male al basso, nell'autunno del 2007 cominciano la loro attività live con date su date.
Lavorano intanto a nuovi pezzi drunken, portando avanti l'idea iniziale di centrifugare insieme Death, Blues, Southern, Thrash, Stoner, Grind, Country, Punk, Rock'n'Roll, Doom e quant'altro.
Ne escono fuori 11 pezzi che vengono imbottigliati nel full-lenght autoprodotto dal titolo "Drink With Us", uscito l'11 Settembre 2009, registrato ancora da Stefano "Saul" Morabito nei 16th Cellar Studios durante il 2009.

La danelectro è stata la mia prima chitarra vintage, trovata appesa al muro dietro una sega a nastro nell'ex falegnameria di mio padre, credo nel 92/93 ... nessuno sa perchè fosse la, neanche mio padre... forse voleva farci un mobiletto, ma poi quando ha visto che non era de legno ma de cartone pressato (!) l'ha nascosta dietro la sega e solo quando la falegnameria è stata chiusa quella chitarraccia è uscita... con la paletta spaccata a metà! Quella che hai preso è molto bella! BRAVO!
In linea? in realtà il Mi basso si accavalla un po ... ma che ce fa?!??! Tu hai una Danelectro nuova, con la paletta diversa? questa è una di quelle anni 60 e anche ridotta malino. Le palette le facevano così x questo modello, con sei meccaniche da un lato. La paletta che vedi è sua solo a metà... xchè si è spaccata in due!
