Southern Flite was established in 1981 at a junior college in northeast Alabama. Traveling all around the southeast part of the country, Southern Flite has taken pride in providing the best music and entertainment, as well as some of the best personalities. The band strives in putting on the best show possible and entertaining the people. Having the crowd enjoy their show, dance, laugh, and just simply have the time of their life, is the bands main concern while on stage. Off the stage, the band loves to meet their fans. Southern Flite has taken pride in showing their thanks, making sure that they get to know their fans and becoming their friend. Without their fans they wouldn’t have anything!! Southern Flite has always made sure to play what the people want to hear. Learning more and more music allows them to play a little bit of what everyone likes. Playing music from old country to new country, old rock & roll to new rock & roll, 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s dance medleys, and of course some southern and classic rock. (YES EVEN SKYNARD). Southern Flite is proud to play for you!!

Hey What a great picture of the (original) band members! I could have said OLD , but I aint goin there... lol. Brings back some fun memories. Hope I get to see you Thanksgiving weekend. Great new band also, saw you guys last year at the UFO days in Fyffe, you were fantastic.
