About me:

"SOUTHERN FRIED BIGFOOT" isn't a comedy, a ‘mock-umentary’ or even a recipe, but a documentary that chronicles the legends and tales of the mysterious hairy creatures rumored to prowl the bayous and backwoods of the American South.

Shot on location throughout the South, "SOUTHERN FRIED BIGFOOT" highlights four of the most famous Southern Bigfoot legends: the Fouke Monster of Arkansas, the Lake Worth Monster of Texas, the Florida Skunk Ape, and the Honey Island Swamp Monster of Louisiana. It also features commentary from some of the most well-known names in cryptozoology and Bigfoot research.

"SFB" premiered on Monday, April 13, 2009 on The Documentary Channel, carried on DISH Network, and it's currently in DOC's broadcast rotation. The DVD - featuring the documentary and 45 minutes of Extras and Deleted Scenes - is available for sale on www.southernfriedbigfoot.com, Createspace, The Documentary Channel's online store, Amazon, and Ebay.

For the latest news, reviews, airdates and times, and information about "SFB," check out the official website at WWW.SOUTHERNFRIEDBIGFOOT.COM.

To learn about some of the trials and travails of producing a Bigfoot documentary on an almost non-existent budget, check out the SOUTHERN FRIED BIGFOOT MySpace blog.
