Fondata a TRANI(BA) nel 1996, la "
Southern Steels Country Band" ricrea le sonorità tipiche della musica country e new-country. L'esperienza maturata in questi anni,attraverso una intensissima attività live, le ha permesso di potersi esibire su tutto il territorio nazionale.Oltre ai numerosi concerti nelle piazze, pubs, discoteche, saloons,maneggi e aziende turistiche di Puglia, Basilicata, Molise, Abruzzo, Campania , Lazio, Marche, Veneto e Piemonte,la band ha partecipato, riscuotendo notevole successo,a raduni e manifestazioni di respiro nazionale e internazionale:
- IX , X ,XI ,XII edizione del raduno equestre dell' Alto Molise (Staffoli );
- "Medicavalli 1998" a Palermo;
- III edizione del festival dei "Country Lovers" a Sandrigo(VI);
- "Mid Summer's Fest 1999" presso il Parco Rio Grassano(BN);
- I Festival della Musica Country di Jenne 2001 (Roma).

Il più grande riconoscimento alla validità del loro lavoro, è rappresentato dagli spettacoli presso la base militare americana USAF di S.Vito dei Normanni(BR) , dove la forza coinvolgente e la versatilità del gruppo sono state protagoniste indiscusse. Nel 1999 la Southern Steels Country Band ha prodotto un CD , ottimamente recensito su "Jamboree",una rivista di musica Blues , Country e Rock&Roll, distribuita in tutta Italia.
La band ha collaborato inoltre con il CMCI nel tentativo di diffondere la passione per la Country Music e per la Linedance in tutto il sud Italia.
