While attending Iowa State University--to study mathematics and physics--I joined a local group called "35inchMudder". Our demo caught national attention--college radio play, showcases on both coast...but we never landed a deal. After a summer of living in Marina Del Ray, Indy film work, and songwriting...I went broke. I came back to Iowa to write and record material for "Waiting for the Fall". I spent a good year opening for national acts that ran through Des Moines and played local gigs. In the winter of 2007 I began the "Southfinger" album, 4Year 1night Stand. I hope you enjoy these songs. They cost more to make than the handful of cash spent on microphones and guitars.

15 days my man! I have not had one drop of alcohol since the Iowa trip, and the past month has been pretty crappy, so I will make up for it ;-) Anyways: sitting at school now studying, and I have your myspace page open so I can listen to your lovely music! My favs are: If I let you, and Yesterday. Still love your take on Rootless Tree too. What I really like about yur music, is there seems to be some feeling and emotion behind your songs. Hey Bri. I have been super busy. Nursing school is getting harder and more time consuming now. Plus, I am now about 14 weeks pregnant also. That just adds to the stress of everything. So it looks like there will be no drinking for me at the Stanley! Which is good, I guess I will be able to remember it all now. ;-) Anyways, only one month till Colorado. Are you excited? Are you nervous about us seeing the AGH film? Jenny, Dawn, Sam and I were wanting to come up some time over the summer to one of your shows but we just could not find a day we all could do. But hopefully, sometime soon! take care!
