About South Florida Musicians

SFM was formed on September 24, 1913 in Miami, Florida. We cover southeast Florida from Key West to Vero Beach, and our office is in Hollywood, Florida. Our job is to promote live music and unite professional musicians and secure better wages and working conditions for them. We are part of the 90,000-member American Federation of Musicians.

Our members perform all styles of music...Classical, Jazz, Rock, Salsa, Island, Blues, Country, New Age, Big Band...you name it, we have members that play it! Our members are available for concerts, weddings, corporate events, private parties, and any event where live music adds that special touch.
