Il SOUTH LOVE VIBRATION nasce come collettivo di Dj e Cantanti sul finire del 1995, dall'incontro fra Papa Miky e Zio Pino della Molfetta Posse, uniti dalla passione e la diffusione della reggae music e della cultura black in genere. Prima del loro incontro, entrambi erano già impegnati e attivi musicalmente nelle loro rispettive citta, ovvero Bari e Molfetta. Già nei primi anni dalla loro unione, si contano le collaborazioni artistiche e session con dj e musicisti del panorama reggae italiano quali: Sud Sound System, Suoni Mudù, One Love hi powa, Villada posse, I&I, Chop Chop band, Rhomanife, 99 Posse, Pooglia Tribe, Bad & Break, More Love, Fuma Project, Golden Bass, Dj War, Gopher D, Kaparezza, Murgia Youth, Salento showcase, ecc. ecc., e del panorama reggae internazionale quali: Max Romeo(Jam), Rodigan(Uk),Dennis Alcapone(Jam), Earl 16(Jam), Mickey Dread(Jam), King Kong(jam), LP International (NY).
Dopo innumerevoli dance hall e concerti, organizzati in provincia e nel capoluogo pugliese stesso, in spiagge, masserie, campagne, il SLV fà, a quattro anni dalla loro unione, il suo primo esordio nel Centro-Nord Italia, riscuotendo un gran successo nelle città di Torino, Moltà, Roma, Milano, Bologna, Viterbo, Cassino, Treviso, Novara, ma anche Salento e Calabria, infatti la crew barese conta all'incirca più di un migliaio di dance hall in più di dieci anni di attività.
Nel 2002 esce un promo cd di 7 brani con testi scritti dalla crew adattati su basi jamaicane che riscuote un buon successo, ancora oggi viene ascoltato e lo si può trovare in giro.
Nel 2007 si realizza dopo anni di duro lavoro a causa della distanza, il South Love & More Love project, un ponte tra il reggae Torinese e quello Barese. Questa collaborazione permette di poter organizzare dance hall ed eventi live di calibro nazionale e non. A sua volta questo progetto viene incluso nella neo etichetta musicale WaanOne music che si occupa di produzioni artistiche ed eventi live. The SLV despite is busy in other musical projects (Bad & Break e More Love), they continue today still to organize and fire the dances proposing the musical experience as a moment of social and cultural growth, making to prevail the message of Peace, Love and Brotherhood....!
