South of Disorder is a Chicago-based tribute to the music of Jimmy Buffett, good times, and the search for the perfect margarita! In 2004 South of Disorder burst into the Chicagoland parrothead kingdom with their own Jimmy Buffett tribute show. Not a show that includes some Buffett songs, but a show completely dedicated to the music and performance style of Bubba himself. South of Disorder sports a full Coral Reefer-like horn section and a Carribean soul burning out of control.
South of Disorder is led by the larger-than-life Caribe Steve, who at any point in time can be found relaxing in the tropics, deep sea fishing in Mexico, or riding out a tropical storm in a Cabo San Lucas bar playing Buffett tunes for the locals and tourists alike. Back home in Chicago, Caribe captains the U.S.S. South of Disorder to various ports around the Midwest, entertaining crowds of all ages--and sometimes even celebrities show up. The love of Buffett is truly a primal force of nature.
South of Disorder now comes in three distinct flavors. The full band, led by Caribe Steve, is an 11-piece replica of all the joy and celebration of a Jimmy Buffett concert, suitable for large venues, events, and concerts. A smaller, skinnied-down version of South of Disorder we call The Disorderlies, led by Jay Eigel, makes the band's fabulous repertoire of Buffett favorites available to private parties and smaller venues. And now, The Disorderly Trio with Jay, Bruce Waters and Scott Ableson can brighten even the smallest room!
