south of no north was formed by luke, trevor, rob and cody in the summer of 2005. they shared the stage with some great acts such as the cardinal sin, curl up and die, limbeck and david wong while supporting the release of their debut cd/ep "...in that old white van" on Greyflight Records. in late 2006 south of no north went dormant. in early 2007 south of no north made an attempt to return to the local music scene with new member ryan qualls, but it wasnt meant to be and after 3 shows the chemistry of the band deteriorated and the band split up for good. luke, ryan and trevor went on to record a song for Plea for Peace vol. 2, released by Asian Man Records, under the name Sandtrappers. that project never took flight and the members of south of no north are now involved in other projects. thanks to all who came out to our shows and to those who bought our cd/ep.

doesn't get much more tough than this: freshly out of a hard night of work eating a fat steak listening to my newly aquired south of no north cd and loving it.
highly unlikely, but funny to think about, i had my ass grabbed on three different occasions saturday night. robert, i swear you were one of them violating me.
thanks for adding us guys. i must say, it sure was a pleasure to see south of no north and david wong out here in co-spring colorado. can't wait to play a show with you fellas sometime soon. the demo will hopefully go as planned for us. And who knows who will cross the desert and the continental divide that seperate south of no north from we're changing our band name. this may be the begining of a great wondering war path tour of rock and fuckin roll!
