About Southside Music Festival Oct 10th and 11th 2008

The Southside Music Festival September 2006 was originally a one day event created to help raise money for the Michael family due to an unfortunate motorcycle accident, leaving Kevin Michael (aka - Dick) out of work for several months and the family with some outstanding hospital bills. The Michael Family also wanted to include various charities. Especially near to there hearts is helping children and animal shelters some examples are: Make-a-Wish Foundation, Special Olympics,Toys for Tots, D.A.R.E.,March of Dimes and The Cancer Foundation .

We are in the planning process for 2008 still trying to raise money for local charities. The list of sponsors is growing by the day and will be posted daily.

ANYONE INTERESTED IN DONATING TO ANY OF THE LISTED CHARITIES SHOULD EMAIL US HERE!

And this year 2008 Brenda Michael and Andrew Adler (Mug from The Hot Rods) are putting together the 3rd annual Southside Music Festival it will be held at The Alamo 19 W Court Sq Newnan GA 30263 on Friday October 10th and Saturday October 11th "A cause for paws" benefiting the Atlanta Humane Society.
