   About Southwest Bluegrass Club
The Southwest Bluegrass Club was organized exclusively to preserve and promote bluegrass music as an original art form to be both performed and enjoyed. The club's mission includes educational activities directed toward the young and the young at heart.
- Providing scholarships to aspiring bluegrass musicians
- Sponsoring and promoting bluegrass concerts featuring local and national bands
- Publishing a monthly newsletter
- Bringing bluegrass friends together

WOW...thanks for the add. What a great time we had at the Argyle Festival. I got to see a lot of favorites at the shows. Went to see Josh and The Gibson Brothers. All were just great. Looking forward to getting involved with bluegrass in this part of the world.

Thanks everyone, for adding yourselves as SWBC's MySpace Friends, and welcome to the new Space. The intention of this page is to help the bluegrass pickers/singers of North Texas get acquainted with each other and aware of the many activities that are going on. This Space is meant to supplement the official Club website with calendaring and networking capabilities, and display video and audio samples of recent and upcoming shows. I'll be glad to post photos/videos of past SWBC shows or jams that you send to me.
