Southwest of Chicago is me.... Daniel Thompson. I Never liked my name as a stage name, and I love the band Chicago. Growing up in San Diego CA, I was southwest of that great city, hence the name. I have a Bachelor's degree in Church music and have worked in ministry roles for about 12 years. I play Bass trombone, piano and sing. I have a beautiful wife and two beautiful children: Ella and Jake. I have been a Christain for 20 years now.... wow has it been that long? My ministry is to existing Christians. I feel that we are failing to live out the life and are the reason our country is falling away. We are either hateful or apathetic with very few in between. As my song says "there were only eleven and the world changed".
