The winner of the Unplugged Category was Adelaide Robarts
Winner of the plugged category was Chi Weapon
As anyone there on Sunday 1st June could testify to, the standard was awesome. The judges were really put on the spot.
We would like to tell every band that entered, if you were not successful this time, please enter next year, this year's standard was truly stunning, so keep trying!
The winning unplugged act will play the coveted Acounstic Tent at the Award winning Wickerman Festival.
The winning plugged act will play the main stage at the Wickerman Festival, supporting GARY NUMAN!!!
This competition sees yet more success!
Remember 2 years ago Darkwater gave a stunning performance
and since have been touring the world with Hayseed Dixie.
Well last years Band winner, The Common Empire have been supporting chart act The Mystery Jets and will be representing Dumfries in Cantu, Italy. All excellent news!!!
