Alisha & the South Yuba String Band are a high energy, up and comin, bluegrass/gypsy group based out of the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills. Their old timey, acoustic original and traditional tunes will have you swingin yer baby round the dance floor all night! Strong vocals, sweet harmonies and fast paced mandolin improvisation mixed with unique guitar pickin and foot stompin drum and bass, along with the occassional accordian, banjo, bouzouki and harmonica send the listener to a train hoppin, grits on the griddle, hold on to yer hats good time!
